With a performance specification from LPEA Ministries of "Concert Quality" sound reinforcement for over 2500 feet on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, The Resource Group chose Blackhawk Audio to step to the front for Luis Palau's Beachfest. The two day festival drew an approximate 300,000 people. With some of the top names in contemporary Christian music:

Saturday Night "Youth Night" - Toby Mac, Third Day, Mary Mary, Jaci Velasquez and Pillar

Sunday Night "Family Night" - Avalon, The Katinas, Hezekiah Walker, Blind Boys of Alabama and Jump 5

Tackling the crew duties for Blackhawk Audio were Ed Crippen - FOH Engineer Jay Wright- Monitor engineer, Steve Weiss- Stage Tech, Chad Peavy - Stage Tech, Kevin McGinty - Delay Tech and Rick Shimer - Crew Chief.
